Types of steel These are the grades of steel available in Bandstål's standard stock, though thanks to our wide network of material suppliers we can also produce most other grades. Please feel free to contact us for further information.

Cold-rolled thin metal sheet

DC01: Type of steel for general purposes involving simple pressing, bending and folding. DC04: Type of steel suitable for production of articles calling for a high degree of mouldability

Hot-galvanised thin metal sheet

DX 51 d+z: Type of steel with good resistance to corrosion for general purposes involving simple pressing, bending and folding.

Hot-rolled thin metal sheet

S235JR: Structural steel with excellent production-friendly properties regarding cold forming, welding and laser cutting.
S355MC: High-tensile type of steel used for pressed components, e.g. for the private-car and truck industries, for which there are stringent requirements regarding reduced weight and good mouldability.

Aluzinc

DX51d+AZ: Type of steel with excellent resistance to corrosion for general purposes involving simple pressing, bending and folding.
